Dr. Thai Binh Tran Serves as Judge and Case Author for FTU Management Trainee 2025 Competition
On June 21, 2025, Dr. Thai Binh Tran was honored to serve as an assessor for the Final Round of the Doanh Nhân Tập Sự – Management Trainee 2025 competition, hosted by Foreign Trade University (FTU), Vietnam.
In addition to her judging role, Dr. Tran contributed directly to the intellectual rigor of the competition by designing the business case study, which focused on Vietnam’s rapidly evolving furniture industry. The case challenged participants to address strategic issues in sustainability, digital transformation, and market positioning.
Among the finalists, two teams—Hej Hej and FTU Brothers—stood out with their outstanding problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and compelling presentations. Their solutions impressed the judging panel and reflected the high caliber of young talent nurtured at FTU.
The event gathered industry professionals, academics, and corporate sponsors, further strengthening the bridge between business education and real-world leadership development.
