Dr. Thai Binh Tran Honored as Honorary Member of SARES
The International Sustainable Aviation and Energy Research Society (SARES) has officially recognized Dr. Thai Binh Thi Tran as an Honorary Member, celebrating her outstanding contributions to the field of international aviation academic. The certificate of honorary membership was jointly signed by Prof. Maximilian F. Platzer, Lifetime Honorary President of SARES (USA), and Prof. T. Hikmet Karakoç, President of SARES and representative of Eskişehir Technical University, Türkiye.
In addition to this prestigious distinction, Dr. Tran has been issued an official SARES Membership Card, which highlights her affiliation as CEO of Great Peace International and her leadership in the field of aviation academic. The membership took effect on April 8, 2025, and reflects the society’s acknowledgment of her commitment to sustainability and innovation within the global aviation industry.
With this honorary membership, Dr. Thai Binh Thi Tran joins a global network of thought leaders working toward sustainable advancements in aviation and energy, further strengthening Vietnam’s presence in international research and professional communities.
Notably, Dr. Tran also participated as an author and delegate in the International Symposium on Aircraft Technology, MRO & Operations (ISATECH 2024), held from August 27–29, 2024, at the Vietnam Aviation Academy in Ho Chi Minh City. Her contributions at ISATECH24 was recognized for enriching the symposium with meaningful insights into aircraft maintenance and operations.
Through her engagement in international conferences and affiliations with academic and industry-led initiatives, Dr. Thai Binh Thi Tran continues to elevate Vietnam’s role in the international aviation landscape.
