UMT Logistics Conference Explores Global Supply Chain Transformation Through Insights from FIATA World Congress 2025

In response to the rapid transformation of global supply chains driven by digitalization, geopolitical shifts, and sustainability imperatives, the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department of the University of Management and Technology (UMT) successfully organized a professional conference entitled “Global Logistics in Transition: Insights from FIATA World Congress 2025.”

The event aimed to provide students with direct exposure to the latest developments shaping the international logistics industry while strengthening the connection between academic learning and industry practice. Drawing insights from the prestigious FIATA World Congress 2025, the conference offered valuable perspectives on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the evolving global logistics landscape.


The conference featured distinguished industry leaders and logistics professionals, including:

  • Mr. Ngo Minh Quan – Managing Director in Vietnam, OEC Group Canada

  • Mr. Nguyen Huu Chi – Director, Penguin Logistics

  • Mr. Dong Minh Huy – Vietnam Representative, American Timber Group

  • Mr. Nguyen Van Toan – Senior Manager, Logistics and Supply Chain, Nippon Express Vietnam

  • Mr. Phan Minh Tien – Logistics Consultant, Port Logic JSC


Representing UMT were Dr. Nguyen Canh Tuan, Vice President; Dr. Thai Binh Tran, Head of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department; and Mr. Phan Thai Binh, Lecturer in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Their contributions provided students with academic perspectives closely aligned with industry expectations and labor market demands.
